Yes. We spent months testing the formula on both deer hair and bowmarten shtreimlich before we were comfortable putting the Mordche name on it — and it works on most other hair types as well.
Yes — it is designed for regular Erev Shabbos use. Mordche works over time: each weekly use reconditions the hair a little more, so the softness and shine build from Shabbos to Shabbos.
No. It restores moisture and softness without changing the natural form. Just a note: if your shtreimel has heavy frizz or matting, Mordche will improve it with continued use, but we cannot guarantee the frizz will be fully removed — that may still call for a professional shtreimel service.
It has a light, clean scent while spraying. Once you let it air out, you won’t smell it while wearing — nothing lingers into Shabbos.
